To Behold The Beauty Of The Lord - Part 3
Today’s Word of Encouragement From Wayne:

“One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord and to meditate in His temple”
Psalm 27:4
How does ministering to the Lord enable us to see the beauty of the Lord?
It is because, as David had earlier written, “In Your presence is fullness of joy” (Psalm 16:11), which joy we receive when ministering to our Lord, for we are praising God exclusively for Who He is and what He has done, and this is all beautiful.
God is beautiful and what He has done is beautiful. When we minister to our Lord we are allowing ourselves to be surrounded exclusively by God, and His beauty is overwhelming, and it is intended to be that way for us.
God wants us all to, as David also wrote, “taste and see that the Lord is good” (Psalm 34: 8), so we will keep on coming back for more of His presence, more of His beauty, and more of His renewing life.
Remember, in ministering to our Lord, we are in God’s presence and it is all about Who He is and what He has done. In ministering to our Lord, we are blessed to leave the world outside as we go into our “inner room,” just like Jesus taught us (Matthew 6:6). God is beautiful and when we step into His presence, His beauty awaits us.
Wrap yourself up in the beauty of the Lord today and you will be saying on a regular basis, “One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord and to meditate in His temple.” Hallelujah!
