Walk With God And Let God Take You
Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:
“Noah Walked With God” Genesis 6:9. “Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him”
Genesis 5:24
Enoch was Noah’s great, great grandfather. It is important for us to see that when we walk with God, we are not only obeying and blessing our Lord, walking in the light of His goodness, but we are passing on a legacy, for those who come after us.
Enoch walked with God and God took Him, to be forever with Himself.
Noah, Enoch’s great, great grandson, also walked with God and God took him, out of the destruction of the flood and into the safety of the ark.
When you and I walk with God we receive both of these awesome truths, and even more! Like Noah, God has saved us out of the destructive flood of sin and death, through the ark of Jesus Christ Himself, and like Enoch, God has taken us to be forever with Himself!
In Jesus Christ God has taken us “and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:6). God has taken us “and has released us from our sins by His blood - and He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father” (Revelation 1:5-6).
Let God take you to Himself today. When you walk with God, you bless your Lord and you enable yourself to see the manifold blessings of being taken to your Lord; in salvation, deliverance, fellowship, safety, victory, and worship. For ultimately, God takes us out of destruction because He desires us to be with Him, now and forever.
So, be with your God today, in His presence, as His priest, and praise Him for the bountiful blessings of being “taken,” and “overtaken,” by God Himself for God Himself. Thank You Lord! Hallelujah!
