Our Fruit Is For Food And Our Leaves Are For Healing

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

Our Fruit Is For Food And Our Leaves Are For Healing

“Their leaves will not wither and their fruit will not fail. They will bear every month because their water flows from the sanctuary, and their fruit will be for food and their leaves for healing”

Ezekiel 47:12

Dear beloved priest of God, the entire body of Christ would be healed, healthy, eating God’s food, and bearing God’s fruit, if we all would live as God’s present day and eternal kingdom of priests, standing as trees firmly rooted in the house of God, receiving the constant flow of living water which comes from the sanctuary of Himself!

God has always declared and made clear that, if His inner court priesthood is holy and obedient to it’s call and identity, in this case given to us in our New Covenant, then goodness, anointing, and power will flow to all of His people.

Ministering to the Lord has always been the link between the outer court, where atonement was ministered to repentant people, and the holy of holies, where God dwelt. In between these two places is the living link of unencumbered direct devotion to God, the inner court.

When God’s people forget and forsake the inner court then they cut the link between the holy power of God’s Own presence in His holy of holies and the lives we live as Christians in this world. Just look at all of the disunity, distracted directions away from Christ, false teachings, greed, corruption, and sinful worldliness that freely flows in God’s church today, and people call that Christianity, and they seem to think everything is alright. And they don’t acknowledge the priesthood or the covenant.

They don’t see. They can’t see. They won’t see.

Let us fix our eyes upon and “consider Jesus, the apostle and High Priest of our confession” (Hebrews 3:1, 12:2). Let us rise up anew and afresh as God’s fully committed-to-Jesus-Christ kingdom of priests. Let us stand in the gap. Let us stand in the river.

As divinely called and blessed priests of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Peter 2:6-9), we are graced to bear fruit every month, because our water constantly flows from the sanctuary. God’s desire and will is that our fruit should become food and our (covering) leaves become healing for the beloved and besieged body of Christ.

Drink the living water that flows freely from God’s sanctuary and you will be constantly fruitful in your own life. God’s intention for our fruitful lives, corporately, as seen in this scripture from Ezekiel, as priests in His presence, is that He would use our priesthood as a conduit for His Own healing and nourishment to flow to His Own people.

Stay in the river that flows from the sanctuary.... and receive.... even as you minister to your Lord.

In Jesus’ name, may God our Abba Father use our small and humble lives, as His Own devoted and called priesthood, to bring a fresh and eternal anointing of healing and nourishment to the church of Jesus Christ in these days, that we would truly become and be what God has called us and saved us to be - “You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s Own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (1 Peter 2;9).

Yes priest of our Lord - allow God’s nourishment and healing to flow to you today, and through you today, in Jesus’ name. Amen. Hallelujah!
