“The Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court; and behold, the glory of the Lord filled the house”
Ezekiel 43:5
What the prophet Ezekiel was blessed to experience, in his great vision of a restored temple and a holy priesthood to God, Which fills the last eight chapters of his book, you and I are blessed to experience every single day in our priesthood to God!
The Holy Spirit of God lifts us up and brings us into the inner court, the inner room within us, where we are privileged and blessed to minister to our Lord in His presence.
The apostle Paul wrote to the church of the Galatians that “God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts crying, ‘Abba Father!’ (Galatians 4:6).
Put this verse from Paul with this verse from Ezekiel together and we can clearly see our Abba Father’s desire and will for a true priesthood, led of His Spirit, who would gladly and insightfully occupy the inner court where we humbly, reverently, gratefully, and joyfully cry out “Abba Father!”
The Spirit truly does lift us up whenever we follow the Spirit’s leading to bring us into the inner court, which exists exclusively for the purpose of ministering to the Lord (see Ezekiel 44:15-16).
The Spirit lifts us up and brings us into the inner court, so that we may lift up our Lord God in praises and devotion, and in so doing we are lifted up once again, being filled with His Spirit as we behold His glory. We are so blessed! Thank You Abba Father!
Beloved of God, let God’s Holy Spirit lift you up today and bring you into His inner court within you. Hallelujah!
