God’s Face Shining Upon You And Within You
Today’s Word of Encouragement from Wayne:

"O Lord God of hosts, restore us; cause Your face to shine upon us, and we will be saved"
Psalm 80:19
This is the third day I am sharing these words from Psalm 80 and perhaps you have noticed that the wording has varied a bit each time. This is because the Psalmist expressed these words in three different places, in verses 3, 7, and 19. This psalmist really wanted to be restored into the shining face of God. And why not, because a restored soul, in the shining light of God face, has got to be about the best, sweetest, experience a soul can have in this life. It is just as David wrote in the 16th Psalm, "You will make known to me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; in Your right hand there are pleasures forever" (Vs. 11).
The shining face of God ,bathing His child in His light, definitely produces fullness of joy. We saw yesterday that God is actually shining in our hearts, now, to give us “the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ” (2 Corinthians 4:6). Our fullness of joy is always in the same place, praise His Holy Name, and that place is in His presence, and His presence is always in us! In His presence His face shines upon us. In His presence we see “the path of life” for He Himself, our Good Shepherd, is our "path of life." He is our way, our truth and our life (John 14:6).
In His presence there truly are “pleasures forever” for, as we have been seeing, our Good Shepherd takes complete care of us. Keep seeing God’s face shining upon you and within you today and you will be kept in a full joy, a “fullness of Joy” that comes from being "in Your presence." Hallelujah!
