To Behold The Beauty Of The Lord - Part 1

Today's Word of Encouragement from Wayne:

To Behold The Beauty Of The Lord - Part 1

"One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord and to meditate in His temple"

Psalm 27: 4

Ministering to the Lord is a heart softener and "to behold the beauty of the Lord" is the reason why. We all behold something, all the time, every day. As for me, I will minister to the Lord so I may "behold the beauty of the Lord." Christians who do not behold, or who miss out on beholding, the beauty of the Lord, I have found, tend to have a much harsher side to them, as a result of beholding the world, or others, or themselves, instead of beholding the beauty of the Lord.

You know, we do become what we behold, and out of the abundance of the heart our mouth speaks. So, let us behold the beauty of our Lord in the presence of God as we minister as priests before Him. Ask of God to behold His beauty and then "seek" His beauty in His presence, as David did. Beholding the beauty of the Lord changes us, for the better. Beholding the beauty of the Lord leads to transformation, being changed into His likeness.

I minister to the Lord purely because He has made us to be a kingdom and priests to Him, and as I do minister to the Lord, because He is worthy of all my praise, I am blessed to be changed as I minister in the presence of the beauty of the Lord. If you want to see your love for God take off with a new anointing, closeness, and power, I highly recommend that you minister to the Lord on a regular basis "to behold the beauty of the Lord." Hallelujah!
