Let Us See His Glory

Today's Word of Encouragement from Wayne:

Let Us See His Glory

The Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory"

John 1:14

God’s Word, Jesus Christ, Who is Immanuel, God with us, is dwelling in us right now. Let us see His glory. We have already seen that "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" (John 1:1). The same God Who said "Let there be light" in Genesis 1:3, has now willed that we, His beloved children, should continually behold His glory, within us, in Christ! This is God’s present will, His present light, for us to see. Concerning this very point, Paul wrote, "For God, Who said, ‘light shall shine out of darkness,’ is the One Who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ" (2 Corinthians 4:6).

Oh praise His holy blessed name! This means that you and I can say, just like John, "The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory." Yes, and we continue to SEE His glory, for God has shined His light, in our hearts, specifically to give us "the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ." Immanuel dwells within us now. Let us receive this light, this knowledge, and let us see the beauty, the glory of our God in the face of Jesus, our Immanuel, Who said, "And lo, I am with you always" (Matthew 28:20). Jesus Christ is the true Star of Christmas. He is the Best Gift of all time. Thank God for His great gift by seeing His glory today. Hallelujah!
