Living Stones In A Spiritual House For A Holy Priesthood

Today's Word of Encouragment from Wayne:

"Coming to Him as to a living stone which has been rejected by men but is choice and precious in the sight of God, you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ"

1 Peter 2:4-5

As new creations in our Lord, every one of us has been birthed by God to become a living stone so we may all, as "living stones," be "built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood." Jesus Christ is our "choice stone, a precious corner stone" (1 Peter 2:6), and we are His little "living stones," intended by God to gather around Christ as a kingdom of priests around our High Priest. God’s church has always been meant to be a "spiritual house for a holy priesthood," filled with the sacred glory, presence, and holiness of God in His Own house over His Own people.

In this day the truth of our priesthood and "ministering to the Lord" (Acts 13:2) has been largely forgotten and "rejected by men" once more. The body of Christ needlessly suffers as a result. But this is the pursuit of God, that we would become willing, joyful, yielded "living stones" for the very presence of God over His Own church. Think about all the good, the power, the presence, the oneness, that a much-needed revitalized acceptance and understanding of our priesthood would bring to Christianity in this day, and realize how "choice and precious" it is to your Savior, Jesus Christ, when you come "to Him as to a living stone" to lovingly minister to your Lord and High Priest.

When you minister to the Lord, you become a part of restoring the priesthood back to God’s people now, that His Own glory may be known over all His Own. Minister to God today, let the glory of the Lord be upon you, and rest as a living stone upon your "precious corner stone." This is rock-solid renewal, every time. Hallelujah!
