Multiplying Grace & Peace To You

Today's Word of Encouragement from Wayne:

"Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord"

2 Peter 1:2

God’s will is for you and I to know Him in such a way that grace and peace become multiplied to us. The more we desire to know our Lord in spirit and in truth; Who He is, what He has done, why He has done what He has done, and what He is doing now, the more His own grace and peace are intended to increase in our lives. Whereas the pursuit of knowing things and developing opinions about things most usually produces a separation in our minds from God, even as we slide more and more into our own thoughts. Sometimes even our own religious thoughts can distance us from the actual presence and knowing of our Lord.

The one thing I really need to know is You O my Lord. Let us place our full desire before our Lord today towards "the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Savior." It is in our actual growing knowledge of our Abba Father and of our Savior Jesus that grace and peace become multiplied to us. When we put our full heart and faith into our Lord Himself, grace and peace aren’t merely added to our lives. No. Grace and peace are multiplied to us, in ever increasing percentages, as God alone is adored as Lord. It is just as John wrote in His Gospel, "of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace" (John 1:16).

Yes, may "grace upon grace" be multiplied to you and received by you today as you grow in the knowing of "God and of Jesus our Lord." Hallelujah!
