Your High Position In Jesus Christ

Today's Word of Encouragement from Wayne:

"The brother of humble circumstances is to glory in his high position"

James 1:9

For a child of God, the entire New Testament is filled with the wealth of our riches and "high position" in Jesus Christ. Scripture tells us that God has "seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus" (Ephesians 2:6). Now that’s a high position! We have been given the best seat in the universe from which to view all of life.

Our humble circumstances may sometimes seem to overwhelm us, if that is all we behold. So never forget that "the brother of humble circumstances is to glory in his high position." That’s right, glory in your high position in Jesus Christ. Be seated with Him in heavenly places and then, from this "high position, glory in your humble circumstances as you sit in glory in the presence of Christ Jesus, far above and away from the circumstances of this world. Praise Him.

Glory in Christ Jesus for, as Psalm 36 declares, "with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light" (Vs. 9). Seeing all things in the light of His light always causes praise and glory in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!
