The True Purpose & Claim Of The Blood of Christ

Today's Word of Encouragement from Wayne:

"the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one holding a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying, ‘Worthy are You to take the book and break the seals; for You were slain, and purchased for God with Your blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth’"

Revelation 5: 8-10

Jesus Christ, our Lamb of God, is being praised by the elders in heaven specifically because He was slain and purchased, with His own blood, people for God in order that we would be "a kingdom and priests to our God."

Is the church receiving this message today about the true purpose and claim of the blood of Christ upon our lives?

Is the body of Christ aware of, or even interested in, yielding to the blood of Jesus’ claim upon us concerning our being this priesthood?

Sadly, it seems that Satan is blinding people to this highest call of God to His church, to be this "kingdom and priests to our God." This is tragic for us as Christians, and for this world in which we live, because the strong witness for Christ that God wants from His church (His priesthood) is greatly diminished because of the failure of God’s people to respond to the call of our priesthood. "And they will reign upon the earth." This statement indicates to me that the true dynamic power of God is activated in the body of Christ only when the body of Christ is truly repentant and responsive to God’s specific and oft repeated call for us, meaning you, me and every Christian, to rise up in the will of God and actually be, right now, the "kingdom and priests to our God" that Jesus paid for in His Own sacrificial blood to make us.

Once more I encourage you to joyfully receive this grace of your priesthood, and realize that this is the very will and purpose of the blood of Jesus Christ for you. Practice your priesthood regularly and you will see for yourself, in the Spirit, how ministering to the Lord enables you to "reign upon the earth" as a victorious, filled with the Spirit of God, priest unto the Father in Jesus’ precious Name by His own blood, in His Own presence. And let us pray for, in God’s presence, and let us declare to the body of Christ, the realization of God’s last days call for His church to become activated now, by the spirit of God and the very blood of Jesus Christ, that we would all faithfully and lovingly become His kingdom of priests, for His glory, for a greater salvation of lost souls, and for the body of Christ’s reigning power in this world. Hallelujah!
