Such Lovely Feet

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

Such Lovely Feet

“Behold, on the mountains the feet of Him who brings good news, who announces peace!”

Nahum 1:15

One beautiful principle of our lives in Christ is this: the more we behold Him, the more we are enabled to see and understand Him.

This is such a huge benefit to us as we minister to our Lord. Seeing Him, beholding Him, is life to us.

I sincerely encourage you to take the time, priest of God, and be blessed, when you next meet with your Lord, to behold this - “the feet of Him,” your gracious Lord Himself, bringing His good news and peace directly to you!

Yes, and then, remaining in His peace with His peace, allow Him to prepare your feet to bring His good news and peace to others.

Through Isaiah, we are blessed with even more to behold on the mountains, along with God’s life-saving good news and peace. He wrote, “How lovely on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who announces peace and brings good news of happiness, who announces salvation” Isaiah 52:7.

God’s feet are “lovely,” don’t you agree? And so are ours, in His opinion, when we go forth bringing His good news and announcing His peace to all people.

Let us be even more grateful and joyful in our Lord, for we see here that our “good news” is “ of happiness.” Yes, hallelujah, He has certainly made us glad with the good news of our salvation, of our being forever with our Abba Father!

In Jesus Christ we have happy feet! Happy feet of peace, good news, salvation, and happiness for all people.

The apostle, Paul, quoted this verse from Isaiah in reference to our preaching the Gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ. He wrote, “‘Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!’” (Romans 10:13-15).

It is clear that Paul was encouraging us, the entire body of Christ. to go forward with preaching the Gospel to all people, to “Whoever will call upon the name of the Lord,” in the spirit of this passage from Isaiah, which is a spirit of peace, happiness, and salvation with lovely feet.

Hallelujah beloved. Let’s be with our Lord, ministering in His presence with thanksgiving, realizing that, as we do this, God is giving us lovely feet on His mountain, for a lovely walk, in His peace and happiness, bringing salvation to all people.

“Behold” this precious treasure, dear one. Receive this, and be blessed now and forever. Hallelujah!
