The Lord Jesus Christ Is Our Shepherd
Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want”
Psalm 23:1
“I am the good shepherd”
John 10:14
The Lord, our Lord Jesus Christ, is our Good Shepherd, and we shall not want!
This is good news.
This is great news.
So, what would you rather be preoccupied with today, your wants or with the Lord being your Shepherd?
When we receive the truth of Christ our Savior actually and truly being our Good Shepherd, available to lead and guide us safely through each day, then our thoughts are blessedly free to be set upon Him, our Good Shepherd, with complete trust and gratitude.
We are His sheep.
He feeds us and leads us.
He is, we have come to now know, our one true “want.”
We need to stay close to Him.
If we stray we will become hungry and our sense of our wants will overwhelm us.
So let us joyfully be His special sheep today, the one closest to Him. Let us sense His presence and security.
For it is in knowing the Lord as our Shepherd that our wants dissolve in the greater light of Him Who is our Shepherd.
Stay by His side and trust in the goodness of your Good Shepherd towards you. Hallelujah!
