Beholding The Beauty Of The Lord Softens Your Heart

Today's Word Of Encouragement from Wayne:

Beholding The Beauty Of The Lord Softens Your Heart

“One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord and to meditate in His temple”

Psalm 27:4

The practice of ministering to the Lord is a heart softener and “to behold the beauty of the Lord” is the reason why.

We all behold something, all of the time, every day. As for me, I will minister to my Lord so I may “behold the beauty of the Lord.”

You know, we do become what we behold, and out of the abundance of the heart our mouth speaks. So, let us behold the beauty of our Lord in the presence of God as we minister as priests before Him, so we may all, as the Apostle Peter wrote of our priesthood, “proclaim the excellencies of Him whom has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (1st Peter 2:9). To behold the beauty of the Lord is a marvelous light indeed and without it we are most definitely left in a darker world.

Ask of God this day to behold His beauty and then “seek” His beauty in His presence, as David did.

Beholding the beauty of the Lord changes us, for the better.

Beholding the beauty of the Lord leads to transformation, our being changed into His likeness.

I minister to the Lord purely because He has made all of us, His children, to be a kingdom and priests to our God (Revelation 5:9-10). Because I minister to my Lord, for He is worthy of all my praise, I am blessed to be softened and changed in my heart even as I do minister in the presence of the beauty of the Lord!

If you would like to see your love for God take off with a new anointing, closeness, and power, I highly recommend that you minister to the Lord on a regular basis “to behold the beauty of the Lord.” Hallelujah!
