It Is Time To Multiply The Priesthood!

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

“As the host of heaven can not be counted and the sand of the sea can not be measured, so I will multiply the descendants of David My servant and the Levites who minister to Me”

Jeremiah 33:22

Our Lord God’s will is, and has always been, to “multiply” the priests “who minister to Me.”

In this day and age, this word is clearly and specifically directed to the body of Christ, whom God our Father is calling to, saying, “you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood” (1st Peter 2:9).

Let us each multiply our own understanding of, and participation in, our own blessed priesthood to God, so that this sacred and important truth may be revived within the church in this day.

Our heavenly Father’s divine will is that every single Christian would realize and live in this declared truth of Jesus Christ, “for You were slain, and purchased for God with Your blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God” (Revelation 5:9-10).

Jesus Christ purchased us “for God” with His Own precious “new covenant in My blood” (Luke 22:20) specifically to make us and present us to Father God as “a kingdom and priests to our God.”

So, how strong can a body of Christ truly be, if we ignore our priesthood and the new covenant blood of Christ?

On the other more blessed hand, how strong would the body of Christ be if we all yielded to God, receiving and practicing our priesthood, understanding that we have been purchased for God with the new covenant blood of Christ for this purpose - to be God’s kingdom and priesthood?

It is time to multiply the priesthood. If not now, then when?

Look at this world, and look at Christianity in this world. It is time right now to step under the new covenant blood of Christ, that we have been purchased with, so we may become the kingdom and priests to God that our Savior has died and risen for, to make us “a people for God’s Own possession, a chosen race, a royal priesthood” (1st Peter 2:9).

If we will do this, then we will be: stepping into the fulfillment of this prophecy from Jeremiah, obeying the blood of our salvation, becoming the people God has called us to be - and the powerful anointing of God will surely fall upon a simply and fully devoted-to-God body of Christ as His Own kingdom and priests!

Pray for this reality to be responded to within the entire body of Christ. Practice this reality in your own life, as God’s Own priest in His presence today, so you may lead by way of example to the body of Christ, that all may have the ears to hear and eyes to see and respond to this glorious truth.
