If You Seek Him, He Will Let You Find Him
Today’s Word of Encouragement From Wayne:
“‘The Lord is with you when you are with Him. And if you seek Him, He will let you find Him. For many days Israel was without the true God and without a teaching priest and without law”
2 Chronicles 15:2-3
God’s door is always open for all of His children to seek Him and to find Him and, in so doing, to be “with Him,” and realize He is always with us.
God wants you to seek Him and He guarantees “He will let you find Him.”
This is God’s expressed desire for all of us, to “seek Him,” in the inner court within us, where we will surely “find Him.” As ministers to the Lord, part of God’s “royal priesthood” (1 Peter 2:9), which all of us born again Christians have been created for (Revelation 1:5-6, 5:9-10), God promises He is with us when we are with Him and that He will always “let” us find Him when we seek Him.
We need more “teaching” priests in this day who will encourage the body of Christ to seek the Lord and find Him in this way; to keep seeking until we have found Him where He is, “Christ in you” (Colossians 1:27), meeting with God within and in real time being “with Him” even as He is “with you.”
It’s very easy for nominally religious people to think that only unrepentant sinners need to seek Him and find Him, as if to say that when we Christians are “saved” that our seeking is done.
While certainly it is true that God calls all of humanity to seek Him and find Him, this word from the prophet Azariah was to God’s Own covenant people, encouraging them to wake up and seek God, seek His closeness, His actual presence and, therefore, be in the place of wisdom, power, and protection “with Him.”
Oh yes beloved, be “with Him” today and “seek” Him for He will certainly “let you find Him.”
God wants you to find Him, right where He is... in you! Meet with God in your “inner room,” teach and encourage others to “seek Him” and meet with Him also, and assure them that if they will “seek” Him that God almighty, “He” Himself, “will let you find Him.” Hallelujah!
