The Grace Of Living And Being With Immanuel

Today’s Word of Encouragement From Wayne:

The Grace Of Living And Being With Immanuel

“For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of peace”

Isaiah 9:6

“But as for you Bethlehem Ephrathah, too little to be among the clans of Judah, from you One will go forth for Me to be ruler in Israel. His goings forth are from long ago, from the days of eternity. This One will be our peace”

Micah 5:2&5

“Now all this took place to fulfill what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet: ‘Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,’ which translated means,‘God with us’”

Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:22-23.

Hallelujah! Christ is born! Bless His holy Name! O let us magnify our Lord!

Our “Prince of Peace,” Jesus Christ, has been “born to us”so He may, Himself, “be our peace” by becoming “‘Immanuel,’ which translated means, ‘God with us!’”

Hallelujah!

For the past few weeks we have been looking at these three Old Testament prophecies concerning the birth of God’s Son on our behalf, of our Savior Jesus Christ. Now, today, let us wondrously behold how all of these prophecies fit perfectly together with one overwhelmingly singular message from our God to us; of hope, of salvation, of a new beginning, of life, of love, of family, of belonging, of God being with us and in us, and of peace. Immanuel has come to be with us, so let us now come to be with Him, for He is glorious and He is always worthy of our praise.

God has come to us so we may experience peace with Him, now in this life, and forever with Him in glory.

We glorify You Lord Jesus. You came to us as a baby, to live for us, die for us, be raised for us, so You might live in us. O Lord, there is room for You in our Inn, in the manger of our hearts right now. Thank You Jesus that You were born for us so we may become “born again” in You (John 3:3). We receive the purity of You as a “child,” the presence of You as our “Prince of Peace,” the power of You as our “Mighty God,” keeping and protecting us, and the purpose of You as our “Wonderful Counselor,” with Your grace filled wisdom and fellowship, for all things are possible with You, for You are our “Eternal Father.”

Praise You Lord God. May Your message of peace reign in our hearts this day, and always. May Your peace and Your presence be known within by all Your Own this day and may we live in You in such a way that Your peace fills us and flows from us through Your Holy Spirit out to this sin filled world that is in such desperate need of Immanuel, so that all will come to You, Jesus, and come to know You themselves as “my Lord and my God!” (John 20:28).

O greatly beloved child of God, merry Christmas to you in our wonderful Messiah. Hallelujah!
