“My Refuge” and “Your Dwelling Place”
Today’s Word of Encouragement From Wayne:
“For you have made the Lord, my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place”
Psalm 91:9
Bless the name of our Lord, for He has given us the great privilege, through Jesus Christ, to be a kingdom of priests to God (Revelation 1:5-6), so we may, through Scripture and experience, come to truly know our Lord in real time as “my refuge.”
Praise God that in the practice of our priesthood, in a regular free-will love-and-devotion basis, we do clearly come to know the Lord as our “refuge” and our “dwelling place.”
Others need to know this important truth and blessing. In fact the entire body of Christ absolutely must come alive in our God given call and identity to actually become, especially now, this kingdom of priests - for God’s Own glory and so that His expressed will may be done, through His body, the body of Christ, out into this world.
Look at the wording in this verse; “For you have made the Lord, my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place.” This is what we want to see when we proclaim the truth of our priesthood, namely, other people responding to their priesthood by making God their refuge.
Tell somebody, tell every body, about ministering to the Lord so that you may joyfully say to someone, when you see them come alive in their own priesthood to God, “For you have made the Lord, my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place.” Yes, let us proclaim “my refuge” so that others may make God their “dwelling place” too.
Spread the precious good news to the body of Christ about our being, “a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy name nation, a people for God’s own possession,” so that we may all together “proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into light” (1 Peter 2:9).
May the entire body of Christ come to intimately know our Lord as “my refuge” and “your dwelling place.” Amen and Hallelujah!
