Those Who Wait For The Lord

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

"Those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings as eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary"

Isaiah 40:31

Brothers and sisters in Christ, let us reverently and eagerly wait upon our Lord, so we may gain His Godly "new strength."

Waiting for the Lord, as God’s kingdom of priests (Revelation 1:5-6), is the clear call for all of us to wait upon God - in His presence. For it is here, in His presence, in our “inner room” (Matthew 6:6), beholding Him, that we indeed do gain "new strength.“ Our ”new strength“ is through the ”new covenant" (Luke 22:20) of our Lord Jesus, with Whom we do blessedly meet, as priests before our High Priest.

Our "new strength," in Jesus Christ, enables us to "mount up with wings as eagles." Paul wrote, "But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus" (Ephesians 2:4-6). This is our “wings as eagles” perspective, to look at all things from the vantage point of being “seated” in victory "with Him in the heavenly places in Christ."

Being seated with Christ in heavenly places is God giving us the best seat in the universe!

Yes, meet with God and wait upon Him in His presence today, for He has “new strength” for you so you may “mount up” to your heavenly perspective in and with Christ Jesus. Receive the inner court blessing of being enabled by God in His presence, as you wait on Him, to look down on all troubles. When you are seated with Christ in heavenly places, Jesus looks bigger and troubles look smaller. Praise God! This is our eagles wings perspective.

In His presence we do not “get tired” and we do not "become weary." In fact, it is in His presence that we experience renewal. In the world we certainly can “get tired” and "become weary." But in Christ, in the presence of our God, He lifts us up, renews us with "new strength,“ and then we are able to continue living in this world without being weary or tired for we know that ”the Lord God is my strength and song" (Isaiah 12:2).

Beloved of God, “mount up with wings as eagles” this day by waiting for the Lord, in His presence, so He may lift you up and give you "new strength." Hallelujah!
