Today’s Word of Encouragement from Wayne:

"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want"
Psalm 23:1
What would you rather be preoccupied with today, your wants or the Lord being your Shepherd? When we receive the truth of Christ actually being our Good Shepherd, available to lead and guide us safely through each day, then our thoughts are blessedly set upon Him, our Shepherd, with complete trust and gratitude.
We are His sheep. He feeds us and leads us. He is, we now know, our one true "want."
We need to stay close to Him. If we stray we will become hungry and our sense of our wants will overwhelm us. So let us joyfully be His special sheep today, the one closest to Him. Let us sense His presence and security. For it is in knowing the Lord as our Shepherd that our wants dissolve in the greater light of He Who is our Shepherd. Hallelujah!
