Ministering To The Lord Fulfills Prophecy

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne: “As the host of heaven can not be counted and the sand of the sea can not be measured, so I will multiply the descendants of David My servant and the Levites who minister to Me” Jeremiah 33:22 The prophet Jeremiah was echoing the “word of the oath” that we have looked at in Hebrews (Hebrews 7:28, 6:17-18), which was originally given in Psalm 110 regarding a coming Messiah Who would be both “Lord” (Vs 1) and “priest forever” (Vs 4). This is Jesus Christ, Who presently is our risen Lord and High Priest. This word of prophecy from Jeremiah, I believe, finds its fulfillment today in you and I. Indeed, the entire body of Christ represents this great word.

My Spirit Within Me Seeks You Diligently - Part 2

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne: “We have waited for You eagerly; Your name, even Your memory, is the desire of our souls. At night my soul longs for You, indeed, my spirit within me seeks You diligently” Isaiah 26:8-9 How blessed we are in Jesus Christ, my brothers and sisters, that we can say along with Isaiah, “my soul longs for you,” and we can also rejoice to say “my soul has found you and lives within you,” for we have been rescued by our Lord Jesus from sin, death, and separation and we now flourish in Him, for He has become our abundant and new life, in Himself. Yesterday we saw how blessed we are, as God’s “royal priesthood” (1 Peter 2:9), to have entered the reality of “my

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne: “We have waited for You eagerly; Your name, even Your memory, is the desire of our souls. At night my soul longs for You, indeed, my spirit within me seeks You diligently” Isaiah 26:8-9 “Indeed, my spirit within me seeks You diligently” - this is our blessed state of being, our normal Christian life, for all who have acquired the practice of ministering to the Lord. Simply and profoundly because we are priests unto God (1 Peter 2:5-9, Revelation 1:5-6), we wait for God eagerly, from within, in His presence, in His inner court indwelling presence. Here is where we are privileged to meet with and behold the glory of our Lord, “for God, who said, ‘light

Effectual & Life Renewing Waiting

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne: “Those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings as eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary” Isaiah 40:31 Let us look at what it means to “wait for the Lord,” for it is imperative that we “wait” with the right spirit, if we want to indeed see and receive the renewing strength that God offers us. The Hebrew word for “wait” in this verse is “qavah,” whose full meaning is: to wait for, eagerly waits, expect, hopefully wait, look eagerly, waited for you eagerly, waited patiently. For me, the key to understanding this is: I wait upon my Lord - for my Lord, Himself, and, in this state,

Those Who Wait For The Lord

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne: “Those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings as eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary” Isaiah 40:31 Brothers and sisters in Christ, let us reverently and eagerly wait upon our Lord, so we may gain His Godly “new strength.” Waiting for the Lord, as God’s kingdom of priests (Revelation 1:5-6), is His clear call for all of us to wait upon Him - in His presence. For it is here, in His presence, in our “inner room” (Matthew 6:6), beholding Him, that we indeed do gain “new strength.” Our “new strength” is through the “new covenant” (Luke 22:20) of our Lord Jesus, with Whom we do b

The Excellent Things Of God Are Accomplished In Jesus Christ - Part 2

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne: “‘Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation.’ Therefore you will joyously draw water from the springs of salvation. And in that day you will say, ‘ Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name. Make known His deeds among the peoples; make them remember that His name is exalted.’ Praise the Lord in song, for He has done excellent things” Isaiah 12:2-5 Bless God my brothers and sisters in Christ because, as New Covenant Christians and priests unto God, we do “praise the Lord in song, for He has done excellent things.” As God’s “royal priesthood,” we absolutely see

God has done truly excellent things for us in and through Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is God’s excellency to us. When we minister to our Lord, in the

Joyously Drawing Water From The Springs Of Salvation

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne: “‘Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation.’ Therefore you will joyously draw water from the springs of salvation. And in that day you will say, ‘ Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name. Yes, draw water today from your inner springs and drink joyously, in the presence o

Praise The Lord In Song For He Has Done Excellent Things

And in that day you will say, ‘ Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name. Make known His deeds among the peoples; make them remember that His name is exalted.’ Praise the Lord in song, for He has done excellent things” Isaiah 12:2-5 Hallelujah! My brothers and sisters, these words from the prophet Isaiah perfectly reflect our present salvation in Christ, along with our position as priests in His presence, praising Him and drinking “water from th

His Resting Place Is Glorious - Do You Agree?

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne: “Then in that day the nations will resort to the root of Jesse, Who will stand as a signal for the peoples; and His resting place will be glorious” Isaiah 11:10 Praise our awesome God because this future “day,” which was prophesied through Isaiah, is now upon us. Yes, our resurrected Lord, Jesus Christ, the son of David, is “the root of Jesse.” The apostle Paul actually quoted from this verse, Isaiah 11:10, in his letter to the church at Rome, specifically in reference to Jesus Christ (see Romans 15:12). Jesus Christ, right now, is God’s “signal for the peoples” and everyone, from every nation, is welcome to come to Him, for “in repentance and rest y

How We Have Been Given Such Great Gladness

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne: “The people who walk in darkness will see a great light; those who live in a dark land, the light will shine on them. You shall multiply the nation, you shall increase their gladness; they will be glad in Your presence” Isaiah 9:2-3 If we walk in the light of Christ today, my brothers and sisters, He will Personally “increase [our] gladness.” Even in this passage from Isaiah, which we have been looking at for three days now, it is clearly stated that this wonderful and “great light,” which was to be granted, is none other than our Lord Jesus Christ Himself. The expressed reason given as to why this light and gladness would occur is stated in verse si

Leaving The Land Of Darkness For The Light Of God’s Presence

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne: “The people who walk in darkness will see a great light; those who live in a dark land, the light will shine on them. You shall multiply the nation, you shall increase their gladness; they will be glad in Your presence” Isaiah 9:2-3 I am so “glad” for our Lord God’s presence. Aren’t you? I am so glad for God’s “great light” for it is in His light, in the light of His presence, that I find my “gladness.” Yes, praise God, it has become true for us in Jesus Christ that, “they will be glad in Your presence.” We do live in a dark land. The light that exists in this world, apart from God, is darkness to God. God’s light is such a “great light,” that His li

See His Great Light & Be Glad In His Presence

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne: “The people who walk in darkness will see a great light; those who live in a dark land, the light will shine on them. You shall multiply the nation, you shall increase their gladness; they will be glad in Your presence” Isaiah 9:2-3 Hallelujah, beloved Christian and priest unto your Lord; let God’s “great light” lead you into His presence today, so you may be filled with gladness. God has shined His great light upon us through Jesus Christ, Who has declared Himself to be “the light of this world.” He said “I am the light of the world; He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life” (John 8:12). This is the light that

Thanking God Today For “Something New”

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne: “Do not call to mind the former things, or ponder things of the past. Behold, I will do something new, now it will spring forth; will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, rivers in the desert... to give drink to My chosen people. The people whom I have formed for Myself will declare My praise” Isaiah 43:18-21 Praise You Lord God! Yesterday I shared with you a part of this word of prophecy from Isaiah concerning how we, the body of Christ, are presently the people whom God has formed for Himself. What a joy it is for us to know that our God has formed and fitted us, perfectly, for Himself, to be filled with His Spirit

Declaring His Praise

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne: “The people whom I formed for Myself will declare My praise” Isaiah 43:21 Declare to your God praise today and rejoice in Him, o beloved child of, and priest unto, the Lord. It is only the people who know they have been formed for the Lord, “for Myself;” these are the ones who want to and will declare, faithfully, regularly, and joyfully, the bountiful praises of our God. When we realize that God has formed us for Himself and, in love, has drawn us to Himself to be born again through the New Covenant blood of Christ, that’s when we begin declaring His praises, and we will never stop. If our faith becomes a technological exercise in theology, then the

A Joy Made Full

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne: “The foreigners who join themselves to the Lord, to minister to Him, and to love the Name of the Lord, to be His servants... even those I will bring to My holy mountain and make them joyful in My house of prayer” Isaiah 56:6-7 Hallelujah, beloved child of God, our Lord is looking, in this day, for people who will minister to Him, love His Name, and be His servants. When God sees a person who has this heart, for the Lord Himself, God brings that person into His house. In His house, with our Lord, is where our ministering to Him is perfected and fully realized. In His house, with our Lord, is where our love for His Name and service to Him become highly

Joyful In My House Of Prayer

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne: “The foreigners who join themselves to the Lord, to minister to Him, and to love the Name of the Lord... even those I will bring to My holy mountain and make them joyful in My house of prayer” Isaiah 56:6-7 Praise God, my brothers and sisters in Christ, when we “join” ourselves “to the Lord, to minister to Him, and to love the name of the Lord” He makes us “joyful in My house of prayer.” Yes, priest of God (1st Peter 2:9), ministering to the Lord is always your sure path into God’s house, into His Own presence, with joy and love. I am a foreigner who has joined himself to my Lord. As Scripture says, “Remember that you were at that time separate from

Jesus, Our Witness, Leader, And Commander Of An Everlasting Covenant

Today’s Word of Encouragement From Wayne: “Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good and delight yourself in abundance. Incline your ear and come to Me. Listen, that you may live: and I will make an everlasting covenant with you according to the faithful mercies shown to David. Behold, I have made him a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander for the peoples” Isaiah 55:3-4 Praise God, let us bless and love our Lord Jesus Christ today for faithfully being the perfect witness, leader, and commander of our Abba Father God’s “everlasting covenant.” Let us behold and understand how Jesus Christ is our “Witness,” our “Leader,” and our “Commander” of “an everlasting covenant.” God said “L

Listening That We May Live

Today’s Word of Encouragement From Wayne: “Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good and delight yourself in abundance. Incline your ear and come to Me. Behold, I have made him a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander for the peoples” Isaiah 55:3-4 Praise God, my brothers and sisters in Christ, and let us “listen carefully” to what God has said in this text, that we may truly live and that we may delight ourselves in abundance. Let us eat what is good, the good news of Jesus Christ and His “everlasting covenant according to the faithful mercies shown to Dav
