A Brief History of Loving Grace Ministries

Originating from the heart of the White Mountains of northern New Hampshire, Loving Grace Ministries was founded in 1979 when Rev. Wayne Monbleau assumed stewardship of the live call-in prayer and counseling radio program he had been substitute host of for the previous two years. At that time "Let’s Talk About Jesus" was broadcasting over one station, New York’s WWDJ.

Recalling those days Wayne reflects, "I had no money, no staff nor any knowledge of media ministry. But I did have a profound call to ministry (given within days of my being born again in 1972) and a great passion to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ’s love for this lost and dying world. God had dramatically and graciously changed my life and I was compelled to reach out with the loving grace of our Good Shepherd in any way that I could."

Since 1979 "Let’s Talk About Jesus" has continued to grow and evolve as a six day a week (Monday–Saturday) hour of fellowship, prayer, teaching and counsel that now unites believers throughout the northeastern seaboard area, from Maine to Maryland. In 1989 Loving Grace Ministries moved its headquarters to New Jersey in order to serve in a more active capacity through personal ministry, hosting retreats, seminars and worship services within its primary broadcast areas.

Rev. Monbleau’s Christ-centered yet down-to-earth approach in speaking and counseling has over the years brought thousands of lives out of the bondage of guilt and condemnation into the knowledge and ability of seeing themselves as beloved children of God. Of the hundreds of letters Loving Grace Ministries receives each week, people most frequently attribute their own blessed benefit from Wayne’s counseling to his emphasis upon compassion, understanding, acceptance and forgiveness.

"Let’s Talk About Jesus" has brought thousands to the realization and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Savior and has also ministered the JOY of a Christ-centered life to thousands more who had been caught in the frustrating downward spiral of trying to please God while always feeling they were not pleasing enough to God.

Wayne also shares sound wisdom and reasoning concerning the need for tolerance and acceptance of differing practices within the body of Christ, so we may fulfill our Savior’s request that we be one with each other in order for the world to believe and for the church to be effectively made whole (John 17:23).

The author of numerous books; Living In Love, Grace: The Essence Of God, and Friendship with God, Wayne’s last book, You Don’t Find Water On The Mountaintop, received national and international attention when it was published by Baker Books/Fleming Revell. Concerning "Mountaintop" entertainer Pat Boone wrote, "How can we possibly be happy in the midst of and even because of sore trials?

I thank God for sharing these crucial insights with Wayne Monbleau so that I can better see myself through the illumination in this book." Like so much of Rev. Monbleau’s ministry, "Mountaintop" reveals Jesus Christ as our example of a Wounded healer and shows us how we may turn our own trials into triumphs and wounds into wonders

Loving Grace Ministries carries an extensive catalog of Wayne’s spoken messages. There are hundred of titles available dealing with all aspects of spiritual growth, sound doctrine, worship and emotional well-being in the Christian life. Monthly Meditations is the name of Rev. Monbleau’s popular tape club and, for the person desiring more involved learning, there are the "In Depth Bible Study" series.

Loving Grace Music has produced a number of musical recordings, from the exhilarating live worship of So Grateful by Wayne Monbleau & Loving Grace to the spoken word with music recordings, The Heart Of The Psalms and The Odes Of Solomon.

Recent releases include the beautifully sensitive and worshipful On The Waters by Debbie Koenig Monbleau and Wayne’s ambitious crossover spiritual pop recording Rain On The Land, Loving Grace Music’s latest offerings include the praise and adoration filled Painter Of The Heavens by Lisa Prokopwitz, the syncopated rhythms and youthful exuberance of Through The Ceiling Through The Sky by Nebulous Thoughts, and Wayne’s first Christian recording (from 1977) now digitally remastered with 5 bonus songs, To My Shepherd.

Rev. Monbleau has an impressive speaking itinerary in churches of all denominations and he leads numerous spiritual retreats. Although Wayne actively continues with that same original passion of sharing Jesus Christ by all possible means, he leads a quiet and reflective personal life, ‘ministering to the Lord’ and out of that time of devotion to God comes all of these other avenues of ministry.

Wayne is a graduate of White Mountains Seminary and received his ordination in 1977.
